Utilizing Google Sheets to Design Learning Experiences in the Secondary Classroom

Google Sheets offers a variety of options for designing learning experiences that facilitate the monitoring of student progress, as well as opportunities for giving timely and effective feedback. In addition to leveraging “version history,” the comments feature, and add-ons, Google Sheets can also incorporate conditional formatting to provide feedback.  When learning experiences are well designed, students are able to navigate independently enabling self-directed learning with the comfort of teacher support embedded within the learning materials.

In this video, EdTechTeacher instructor, Tom Driscoll, explores the skills and abilities needed to create digital experiences and workspaces for students.
